Nemacolin castle was first ran by The daughters of the American Revolution. Now it is ran by the Brownsville Historical Society! It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975. It is located in the Brownsville Northside Historic District. The Brownsville Historical Society is made up of several volunteers that work together.
